History of the Cadet

The Cadet was designed in 1948 by the famous British boatbuilder Jack Holt. It is a seaworthy two man dinghy designed specifically for children and young people to sail. The design is low-cost and easy to build at home.

The Cadet is equipped with a mainsail, a foresail and a spinnaker. It has a centreboard and a retractable rudder.
